We ensure that all work carried out is completed to the highest standard, on time , with the least possible disruption. Carus works with a large team of painters and decorators; all professional, experienced craftsmen. We are able manage entire projects by organising scaffolding, access platforms, roof edge protection, barrier protection, site area shutdown, floor protection, cleaning units and much more, as required.

Maintenance Programmes

Carus offers maintenance programmes for all buildings, properties and facilities. Maintenance programmes can be tailored to suit individual requirements. Carus programmes will provide you with a streamlined planned maintenance, reducing your risks, helping with budgeting and improving the appearence of your assets; saving you money. Managing your assets in a pre-planned programme can minimise repairs by ensuring issues are seen to as soon as they arise. Properties’ operating life could be extended purely by keeping on top of your maintenance.

Our clients can be provided with their own link through to our web-based customer service portal. You can log in at any time to see where your maintenance programme is up to and also request further information and/or request for a site visit etc. Photos can be uploaded, making it easy for you to see current progress to save having to visit the site to check up on the status of your buildings or properties.

Scheduled maintenance has proven to be a success over a long period of time. Our painting and maintenance programmes help customers achieve immaculate presentation from the outset of the programme, while avoiding a large outlay in cost. Payment is also tailored to the client and can be split up to monthly, quarterly or yearly payments.

Carus, being a service based company, all maintenance programmes are designed to help the client, and allow the client to make changes, add variations and modify, if required, to suit changing client needs. We are constantly looking at ways to improve relationships with clients and add real value to ensure we are supporting the future of your property.

Environmental Awareness and Care:

Carus Environmental Statement:

The team at Carus are 100% focused on keeping the environment looking as clean and green as the Carus logo. Helping Carus maintain its environmental vision, is Dulux: A key partner. Carus has recently purchased the Dulux EnviroWash System (the greener way to dispose of paint wash up).

The EnviroWash System is an innovative, water-based treatment system that turns paint wash-out into clean water and inert solid waste, allowing for easier, safer disposal. The first of its kind in the New Zealand market, the patented EnviroWash System provides an environmentally responsible way of washing out painting tools and minimises the negative impact of traditional paint waste disposal methods.

The EnviroWash System is efficient and fast - separating paint solids from 120 litres of water in only 1 hour. The largest system can handle up to 800 litres of paint washings and the EnviroWash System can process every type of acrylic paint in New Zealand.

The EnviroWash System also helps to avoid storm water pollution issues. Increased community expectations of environmentally responsible clean up processes make the system a must-have for the professional painter.

Carus also has a close working relationship with Resene.

As a part of our commitment to the environment we ensure that, wherever possible, we use water-based paints. The benefit of water-based paints to the environment is obvious. When solvent-based paint dries, a large quantity of solvent evaporates into the atmosphere, contributing to air pollution levels. On the other hand, water-based paint emits predominantly harmless water vapour.
