Blake is a highly motivated member of the Carus team and takes care of the majority of our sales and customer management for the South Island. For him, it’s about more than just a sale, it’s about an ongoing relationship with every client. He’s passionate about finding the right solution and is known to ask all the right questions and develop project plans for his clients that get the best results for their property.

If you listen you will detect a (not so slight) Californian accent when talking to Tyler – though having moved here when he was still in his late teens, he hasn’t looked back since. Having recently been made a father he is quickly discovering that his work as Project Manager makes that mahi look like a walk in the park. When he is not spending time with his family or making sure your projects come in on time and on budget, you may also find Tyler on the golf course – unfortunately though, the fact that Tyler rhymes with Tiger doesn’t seem to help when it comes to consistency around the greens.

Meet Matt Gill, with a background in sales management and leadership, Matt has conquered industries ranging from tyres to tools and even dabbled in the delicate world of toilet paper. While Matt’s painting skills may be a work in progress (blame it on being a bit “slap dash”), he’s not afraid to roll up his sleeves and tackle any task. He’s recently honed his skills during a home renovation, though he’ll admit his wife takes the lead in precision. On weekends, you’ll find Matt strolling the beach with his trusty miniature schnauzer, Fergus, or indulging in a summer BBQ with friends. Despite being more of a spectator these days, he’s a die-hard baseball fan and spends his summers hiking and mountain biking in the mountains, only to trade his wheels for a snowboard come winter. His favorite motto? “Don’t run with your ice-cream.” Wise words to live by, especially when dealing with ambitious DIY ventures. Matt’s parental worries extend to his teenagers, fearing they might be up to the same mischief he once enjoyed. We’re thrilled to have him on board—just keep an eye on that ice-cream!
