The Carus Group Hawke’s Bay team recently completed a comprehensive repaint project at Nelson Park School, a well-established primary school in the heart of Napier. Delivered across multiple stages, the project focused on refreshing and protecting key areas of the school while minimising disruption to the learning environment.
Our scope of works included repainting the school’s roofs, exterior classroom blocks, and selected interior spaces. Externally, the team transitioned the buildings from bold yellows and blues to a calmer, more neutral colour palette, creating a cleaner and more cohesive finish across the school. Internally, refreshed surfaces have helped modernise teaching spaces while maintaining durability for everyday use.
Through careful surface preparation and the use of high-quality coatings, this project not only improved the overall appearance of the school but also delivered long-term protection against Hawke’s Bay’s weather conditions and the demands of a busy school environment.
