How it works:

We are running three separate competitions for our 2026 Activity Book based on school year levels:

Juniors - School Years 0 - 4
Intermediate - School Years 5 - 8
Seniors - School Years 9 & 10

Mural Competition (School Years 0 - 10):

Win the chance to see your art come to life! Two winners will be selected from each of the Junior, Intermediate, and Senior competition age groups to have their mural design painted at their school (6 murals total, up to 2.4m x 3.6m wide).

1st Place - Selected by a panel of Carus judges.
2nd Place - Fan-voted by you on Carus social media!

Colouring In Competition (Juniors - School Years 0 - 4):

1st Prize – Win up to $1,000 worth of sports equipment for your school
2nd Prize – Win up to $500 worth of sports equipment for your school

Mascot Design Competition (Intermediate - School Years 5 - 8):

1st Prize – Win up to $1,000 worth of sports equipment for your school
2nd Prize – Win up to $500 worth of sports equipment for your school

Creative Writing Competition (Seniors - School Years 9 & 10):

1st Prize – Win up to $1,000 worth of sports equipment for your school
2nd Prize – Win up to $500 worth of sports equipment for your school

Every year, our Annual Activity Book Competition inspires students across New Zealand to unleash their creativity through mural designs, colouring-in pages, and short stories.
